I modeled the potential economic and environmental impacts of BAAJA, the permitting bill the Senate will soon vote on. Under assumptions that I consider plausible, BAAJA likely increases domestic greenhouse gas emissions and domestic mortality attributable to air pollution.

I just finished an awesome 3-day swing through Shasta, Siskiyou, and Modoc counties. Showing up in every part of my district, meeting with our diverse communities, and learning about local needs and priorities—these have always been hallmarks of my work in Congress.

This just in from SCOTUS! I'm sure there is more drama to come, but for now - since Trump likes talking about asses these days - Trump is getting his authoritarian ass kicked by democracy and the rule of law.

One day before the midterms, Trump held a bizarre press conference, waving around posters of his latest DC renovation plans, boasting about his giant arch, and blaming imaginary vandals for his botched Reflecting Pool makeover.

This is an industry giveaway that won't lower prices, and it’s an insult to the intelligence of voters from a president who just boasted that "we're making a freaking fortune" from high oil and gas prices due to his war in Iran.

The only ones winning are Trump and his billionaire Big Oil buddies.

Eyes wide open. This threat won't go away unless/until more Americans understand it.
